Child Development and Family Center Programs

We offer programs to support NIU student-parents and DeKalb residents.

Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS)

Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) supports NIU student-parents who need child care assistance to remain in school and graduate with a college degree. The program supports up to 100% of the cost of child care for students with small children.

Preschool For All Expansion (PFAE)

Preschool For All Expansion (PFAE) is open to both DeKalb residents and NIU student families. Our curriculum focuses on each child’s cognitive, social, emotional, physical and linguistic development. The program can support 40 children and it’s available at no cost to qualifying families.
