Our Master of Arts in speech and language pathology degree prepares you to work effectively with individuals who have communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan by integrating small classes with research opportunities and hands-on clinical practicums. During this program, you will have guided clinical experiences with NIU faculty at our large, fully equipped clinic and a chance to complete off-campus clinical practicums at over 300 external facilities. We work with you to secure off-campus practicums in clinical and school settings that will help you meet your career goals.
The Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic offers students a practicum and research site that enhances their education while providing speech-language pathology and audiology services to the community.
