Since our founding in 1959, the NIU School of Nursing has built a strong reputation in the nursing profession. With more than 9,000 alumni practicing across Chicagoland and around the world, you're joining a network of nurses whose impact is felt far and wide. That legacy supports every new graduate who steps into the workforce as a Northern nurse.
