NIU’s Physical Therapy Clinic provides physical therapy services to the students of NIU and specialized services to members of the community. It also provides clinical education opportunities for physical therapy students and serves as a center of research in balance and motion analysis. It has a large open treatment area, equipped with a wide variety of exercise equipment and three private treatment rooms.

The clinic also has state-of-the-art balance and motion analysis systems and, through these, the clinic will provide assessment and treatment services for area hospitals and clinics. Research on balance and fall risk assessment across the lifespan is ongoing in the clinic.
