COMRAD seeks to encourage students from diverse cultures and backgrounds to not only consider a possible career in communicative disorders but to successfully complete the necessary academic program. The organization’s primary objectives are to retain minority students currently at NIU through mentoring and support and to increase the number of minority enrollees in academic preparation programs focusing on communicative disorders. We will be seeking volunteers for these and other activities throughout the year.
