16th Annual Empty Bowls Event

Presented by the NIU Student Ceramics Association from the Art Department, Student Dietetics Association and Bread for the World Student Organization from the School of Family, Consumer and Nutrition Sciences. Based on an international project that originated in Michigan: http://www.emptybowls.net.
Choice of four soups (unlimited quantity) plus assorted bread and beverages. Soups to be served: Chicken Tortilla, Broccoli Cheddar (vegetarian), Stuffed Green Pepper, or Minestrone (vegan).
All profits will be donated to Hope Haven Homeless Shelter and the NIU Student Food Pantry to help feed hungry people.
Cost is $15 per bowl with meal, $10 for meal without bowl. The beautiful ceramic bowls become yours to bring home with you.
There will be a raffle and prizes from local sponsors.
