Course Delivery

The PhD in Health Sciences program utilizes a hybrid (blended) course delivery format. That is, courses will be delivered using both synchronous and asynchronous online components as well as periodic face-to-face (f2f) meetings.

Each core course will be introduced in a f2f session. In addition, the f2f sessions will create an opportunity for faculty and students to articulate the link between completed course work, upcoming course work and materials from Individual Programs of Study. These f2f sessions seek to foster the integration of all of the components of the doctoral program as a whole as well as reinforce the inter-professional nature of the program. They are also designed to encourage students to identify with other students in the cohort.

Please refer to the suggested schedule (PDF) to see what the typical schedule for a part-time or full-time student might look like.
